Meat… (the series)
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the kitchen…
“You will NOT believe this at first … but after a few minutes the characters will start to appeal and you will be hooked! This is the joy of non-commercial film making … imagine trying to get a funding committee behind this project!?!?!?” Dave Watterson, BIAFF
Meat… The Series won the ‘Bill Buckley Award’ at the Red Carpet Screenings 2011 in Basingstoke.
Simon and Fletch have moved into a new town, and with money light on the ground, they’ve been forced to take in an unsuspecting new lodger.
Mary is getting settled in with the boys – Simon in particular. Fletch is not too happy about the way things are going, so plans a surprise of his own at dinner.
The unexpected guest has turned out to be more interesting to Simon than Fletch would have liked, whilst Mary is beginning to show her true colours.
The final part of the series. Mary is becoming too much for Simon to cope with and Fletch is becoming increasingly smug about it. The stress of it all makes Simon consider something rather rash.
There were originally meant to be 6-parts to this series which saw more from Mary and Darren.
Unfortunately we were unable to film the final two parts and so had to bring the series to a premature end, which was a great shame.
We hope you enjoyed the show nonetheless!
