’8 Ball’ won a ’4 Star Award’ at the British International Amateur Film Festival 2012, Best Screenplay, Best Film and Audience Choice Awards at the University of Gloucestershire Film Festival 2012, Best Script at the Sarnia Short Film Festival 2012 in Guernsey and voted by users as Best Film of the Month for July 2012 on Indiedemand.com. It received a Diploma from Toti 2011 in Slovenia. It was selected for screening at the FilmFstvl 2012 in Holland, the Seoul World Short Film Festival 2012 in South Korea and the Rob Knox Film Festival 2012 here in the UK. It was also the only UK-produced short film to screen at the UNCIPAR 2012 Film Festival in Argentina.
